We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate II - Bioanalytical Expert to join our team at Planet Pharma. As a key member of our bioanalytical team, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing biological samples arising from routine PK studies in support of Lead finding/lead optimization studies.
Key Responsibilities- LC-MS/MS Expertise: Serve as the internal LC-MS/MS expert for bioanalysis of samples, providing high-quality data on which research decisions can be made.
- Independent Decision-Making: Work independently and make day-to-day scientific decisions with minimal guidance, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze samples by LC-MS/MS, QC the data, and report it in an internal Data Capture System, providing updates at various meetings internally.
- Collaboration and Communication: Develop strong internal relationships with Chemistry and Biology personnel, including Laboratory Animal Resource group, and effectively communicate results to colleagues and management.
- Instrument Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot instruments as needed and call service personnel in a timely fashion if the problem is beyond internal capabilities.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Analytical Sciences.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in the bioanalytical area, with mastery of LC-MS/MS science/experience.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with colleagues across departmental lines, work effectively in a team environment, and present effective, clear, and insightful data results.
- Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Produce accurate and trustworthy data analysis, and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
