About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our team at Integrative Emergency Services. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and efficient clinical operations.

This hybrid part-time position offers a unique blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities, allowing you to grow your skills and contribute to the success of our team.

Job Description

The Clinical Assistant will report directly to licensed healthcare providers and perform various tasks under their guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining patient histories, vital signs, and documenting electronic medical records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Providing administrative assistance during examinations and procedures, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Supporting healthcare providers by assisting with documentation, answering phone calls, and responding to messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitoring lab results, X-rays, and other critical patient information, escalating concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Participating in performance improvement activities, attending staff trainings, and contributing to weekly team huddles to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, applicants must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation. Prior experience in health education, patient navigation, or health clinic settings is highly valued, especially if accompanied by certifications such as CMA or RMA.

Bilingual candidates with proficiency in Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, or English are also encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

As a Clinical Assistant, you can expect to work in a smoke-free environment with low noise levels. Our office adheres to strict HIPAA guidelines, emphasizing discretion and confidentiality. While some travel may be required to cover multiple facilities, our primary location is at 4100 Harry Hines Blvd Suite #375, Dallas, TX 75219.
