Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

At Addiction and Mental, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in luggage and body searches.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and facilitate patient activities as directed.
  • Monitor and document patient locations, circulating around the facility on a regular basis.
  • Assure patients follow the Bradford Program Schedule and are on time for each assignment.
  • Oversee med line to prevent diversion and de-escalate situations as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred.
  • One year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of chemical dependency recovery.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds for approximately one (1) mile per every eight (8) hour shift.
  • Must be able to continuously sit for approximately three (3) hours per eight (8) hour shift.
  • Must be able to administer CPR and be certified.
  • Must be able to see and hear constantly.
