Estimated Salary:

$7,500 to $8,000 per month (based on 40 hours/week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team at The Villages of Dallas. As a Physical Therapist, you will effectively screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.

  • You will provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • You will administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively screens/evaluates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.

  • Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; wound care; etc.
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
  • Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Licensed Physical Therapist degree and be open to PTs at all experience levels. New graduates are welcome.
