Key Responsibilities- Provide technology leadership globally for generator technology
- Lead root cause investigations for issues with significant fleet impact from initial investigation through the CAPA phase
- Resolve in-depth, technical issues in Generator technology for customers timely and efficiently
- Assure all component designs meet requirements for customers
- Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services operations, quality, and design engineering to fulfill customer needs
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in an engineering capacity
- Minimum 8 years' generator engineering experience or related technology
- Working familiarity with Spanish language
- Familiarity with Latin America GEV customer base
- Masters degree in Engineering, preferably electrical, mechanical, materials, or systems engineering, or MBA
- Significant generator engineering experience with Legacy GE as well as Legacy Alstom and other OEM
- Six Sigma / Lean training experience
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Prior experience in a customer support/facing role; strong commercial mindset
GE Vernova offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $98,400 - $164,000 USD Annual, and a variable incentive bonus of 10%. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, access to a Health Coach, a 24/7 nurse-based resource, and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
