Electrical Engineering Lead

Job Description: We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team. As an Electrical Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for large, complex industrial facilities. You will work closely with our team of engineers and clients to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Create and manage electrical engineering designs for large, complex industrial facilities.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code to ensure that our designs meet the utmost safety and quality benchmarks.
- Design robust power distribution systems tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
- Collaborate with clients to align our electrical solutions with their objectives.
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- 12+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design for manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution facilities, water/wastewater/storm water treatment plants, large central utility plants, large ports/intermodal facilities, or very large campus-style plants.
- Experience acting as Engineering of Record (EOR) and engaged in design-interactive projects.
- NEC Proficiency and knowledge of power distribution, grounding, feeder sizing, cable tray, construction specifications, switchboard and service sizing, connection options and scenarios, power system backup, Life Safety requirements.
- Knowledge of constructability of proposed solutions and power system analysis and application in design.
- Lighting Design Knowledge and proficiency in developing lighting solutions for complex production spaces.
- Knowledge of Energy Compliance requirements, controls and completion compliance documentation.
- Multi-Discipline Design Exposure and software skills in eTAP, SKM, Visual, Easy Power, ElumTools, REVIT, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
- Exceptional Communication and willingness to travel for site assessments, on-site meetings, and progress observations.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
