Project Engineering Lead

As a key member of the GE Vernova team, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced, cleaner, and efficient power solutions to our customers.

As the Lead Customer Project Engineer for Core Americas, you will be responsible for providing technical coordination for conversions, modifications, and up-rates on Gas Turbines within the GE installed base.

You will manage the engineering project immediately after order conversion, ensuring timely delivery to support parts delivery, outage activities, or other downstream work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling, engineering definition, parts ordering, BOM / DWG approval, and Field Modification Instruction (FMI) creation
  • Resolution of technical issues during installation of assigned projects
  • Successful execution of the engineering and related downstream activities for the overall CM&U order/project

You will work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams to ensure a successful project.

Additionally, you will:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries using technical files
  • Complete project closeout activities, including gathering feedback and data to support continuous improvement

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, as well as willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
