VCU Health is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team. As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research opportunities in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide anesthesia care to patients in the main OR and ambulatory areas.
• Supervise and direct Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) as appropriate.
• Participate in clinical trials and research studies as interest and area of specialization allow.
• Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, University, or VCU Health System committees as requested or determined via individual interest.
• Foster a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment and demonstrate commitment to being a good citizen of the institution.
Requirements:
• MD or DO degree.
• ABA Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology and/or certified/eligible for Critical Care Certification.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia.
• Eligible for employment in the United States.
• Good communication, clinical, and teaching skills.
