The AmazonFresh Merchant Management team within the Grocery Fulfillment Tech organization is on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Senior Program Management Specialist to spearhead advancements in the onboarding and lifecycle management of Retail and third-party merchants.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Management Specialist, you will be the key liaison with major central Retail teams, responsible for defining and executing substantial projects across Amazon Fresh. Your duties will encompass:

  • Gathering business and system requirements from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drafting comprehensive specifications and driving project timelines from conception to launch.
  • Coordinating design and implementation efforts across multiple teams to create optimal solutions.
  • Making informed trade-offs to enhance time-to-market while clearly communicating objectives, roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes to diverse project teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 7+ years of direct collaboration with engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience in managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs that drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by multiple factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
