About the Role

NASCAR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Daytona, Florida. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and securing corporate sponsorships and large-scale hospitality programs with companies across NASCAR Southeast properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to prioritize market approach and daily prospecting efforts
  • Prospect for future revenue opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the Southeast sales team
  • Generate new revenue, renew and upsell existing accounts, and establish relationships with senior-level executives
  • Research and identify industries and organizations to pitch sponsorship/hospitality opportunities
  • Maintain high-level customer service to existing and new corporate clients
  • Regularly attend networking and community events to build professional networks and identify sales opportunities
  • Work in coordination with Client Services to ensure proper execution of partner assets and maintain strong relationships
  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecast weekly
  • Assist in annual revenue/expense budget preparation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales experience (prior sports sales experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Sales/Sports Management
  • Understanding of sponsorship/hospitality sales, event marketing, and activation process
  • Ability to confidently communicate the value of sponsorship and hospitality offerings
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of the applicable organizations
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, results-oriented, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and CRM
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus, but not a requirement
  • Strong business relationships in Atlanta, Orlando, and other Southeast markets a plus, but not a requirement
