Maintenance Superintendent

This distinguished global resource company is in search of a Maintenance Superintendent to manage the refurbishment and reliability of critical mobile mining machinery across North and South America. This position requires strategic foresight, technical expertise, and leadership to maintain exemplary standards in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strategic objectives to improve the reliability of mobile mining equipment.
  • Oversee the equipment refurbishment program, focusing on haul trucks, dozers, and loaders.
  • Provide technical assistance for critical production challenges.
  • Implement best practices for reliability during equipment refurbishments.
  • Develop maintenance protocols for mobile mining machinery.
  • Ensure effective utilization of standardized refurbishment procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication abilities are essential.
  • Adaptability to high-pressure work settings is necessary.
  • Travel within the U.S. and internationally may be required.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing and lifting.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in maintenance and operational protocols for heavy mining equipment.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience in supervising, training, and motivating personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively oversee operations, projects, and activities.
  • Strong commitment to safety and hazard recognition.
  • Expertise in mobile maintenance of mine haul trucks.
