Position Overview:
This role focuses on the essential tasks of conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs on semi-trailers. We are committed to the professional development of our technicians, providing advanced training opportunities in our certified training centers. Compensation:
A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available, contingent on experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections and diagnostic evaluations to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Execute advanced repairs and replace critical components, including radiators, valves, and turbochargers.
  • Rebuild or repair significant components such as transmissions and engine blocks.
  • Conduct comprehensive engine overhauls, including the replacement of heads, rods, and bearings.
  • Troubleshoot complex wiring systems and address electronic malfunctions.
  • Carry out routine maintenance services, identifying and addressing worn or damaged parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Meet shop quality and efficiency standards consistently.
  • Document vehicle service and repair records accurately.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize necessary safety equipment at all times.
  • Stay updated on technical skills through ongoing education and training.
  • Verify vehicle performance through test drives and necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience working with trailers.
  • Possession of personal hand tools is required.
  • Strong diagnostic skills using specialized software.
  • Proficient in computer usage for maintenance recordkeeping.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and mobility.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety are essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required; a CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
