About the Role

Panasonic Corporation of North America is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement and contract management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of transactions, from request for proposals to awards and supply chain fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Review and analyze sales documents and terms for government and public sector customers, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, statutes, and laws.
  • Proposal Review and Analysis: Evaluate proposals, contract terms, and conditions, and prepare and disseminate information regarding contract requirements and status.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and problems, propose solutions, and report to the Legal and Compliance and business stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure effective, timely order administration, and support compliance initiatives.
  • General Administration: Assist with drafting and updating departmental process diagrams, operating procedures, and ad hoc status reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of work experience. Preferred Master or Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Procurement and Contract Management Experience: 4+ years of experience with state procurement contracts.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of state procurement and contract management requirements, regulations, and best practices. Understanding of governance processes. Experience maintaining accurate information in a computerized maintenance management system database to track, monitor, and assess contract and project performance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS 365, project management, and/or contract management platforms. Expert experience with Excel, including creating macros, using pivot tables, and creating dashboards.
