Job Summary

The Front Desk Assistant Manager is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Office Operations: Assist the Front Desk Manager with the day-to-day operations of the front office, including managing reservations, handling guest requests, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate front desk staff to ensure they are providing excellent service and meeting performance expectations.
  • Revenue Management: Analyze and optimize room revenue and occupancy, ensuring that the hotel is maximizing its revenue potential.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and hotel software systems.
