Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Front Desk Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front desk team, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, setting the tone for the team and ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to handle all guest inquiries and requests.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all guests leave the hotel satisfied.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all departments, ensuring that all guest requests and concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the training and development of front desk staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional guest service.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a degree in hospitality or a related field being an asset.
