Key Responsibilities- Maintain complete knowledge of state sanitation and health regulations, as well as hotel requirements, and ensure compliance in all aspects of food production.
- Plan, prepare, and set up quality service in all areas of food production, adhering to standards and plating guide specifications.
- Assist with the direction, training, and monitoring performance of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and specials.
- Establish and maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and sanitation in work areas and equipment.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum one year of experience as a line cook, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- High school graduate or equivalent, with certification of culinary training preferred.
- Safe food handling certificate.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
