Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete knowledge of state sanitation and health regulations, as well as hotel requirements, and ensure compliance in all aspects of food production.
  • Plan, prepare, and set up quality service in all areas of food production, adhering to standards and plating guide specifications.
  • Assist with the direction, training, and monitoring performance of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and specials.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and sanitation in work areas and equipment.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as a line cook, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with certification of culinary training preferred.
  • Safe food handling certificate.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
