Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting quality, evidence-based nutrition care to meet the needs of our patients in the acute care setting and out-patient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based medical nutrition therapy interventions for patients.
- Obtain and analyze data, develop and implement evidence-based nutrition interventions and care plans, and monitor patient outcomes.
- Provide nutrition education and/or counseling as appropriate.
- Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team caring for patients.
- Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related field required.
- Credentialed Professional (Registered Dietitian) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within 60 days of hire.
