We are currently seeking a Diet Technician (Part-time) to join our dynamic team near Hazlet, NJ
Key Responsibilities: As a Diet Technician at NutraCo, you will work closely with Registered Dietitians and the clinical team to support resident care by:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of nutrition care plans for residents.
- Collecting resident information and dietary data for Registered Dietitian review.
- Monitoring resident food intake and preferences, and providing feedback to the care team.
- Performing nutrition screenings and assessments under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian.
- Supporting menu planning, conducting meal rounds, and ensuring compliance with dietary standards.
- Assisting in the documentation of resident progress within the EMR system.
- Participating in facility audits, sanitation checks, and assisting with quality control processes as needed.
- Associate's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or a related setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and guidelines.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work remotely with a designated home office setup (for remote positions).
