Nutrition Care Opportunities at NutraCo

We are seeking a skilled Diet Technician to support our team in delivering exceptional nutrition care to residents in long-term care facilities nationwide. As a Diet Technician at NutraCo, you will work closely with Registered Dietitians and the clinical team to support resident care by:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of nutrition care plans for residents.
• Collecting resident information and dietary data for Registered Dietitian review.
• Monitoring resident food intake and preferences, and providing feedback to the care team.
• Performing nutrition screenings and assessments under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian.
• Supporting menu planning, conducting meal rounds, and ensuring compliance with dietary standards.
• Assisting in the documentation of resident progress within the EMR system.
• Participating in facility audits, sanitation checks, and assisting with quality control processes as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or a related setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and guidelines.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
