Key Responsibilities
  • Train and evaluate production staff to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Manage production processes to effectively produce high-quality products, maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Investigate and resolve quality control issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with production staff, ensuring clear understanding of job responsibilities and expectations.
  • Inspect work areas daily to identify and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Investigate and document accidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train production staff.
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of supervision experience in a plastic process facility.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering or manufacturing.
