Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Ancillary Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of Epic Ancillary projects. The successful candidate will provide a single point of contact for this area of responsibility, working closely with the Epic Project Director to define project scope and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrated EMRs, financial systems, enterprise systems, and/or ancillary systems, with knowledge of workflows and business functions. They will be responsible for project tracking and analysis, providing analytical guidance to project team members, and managing medium to large effort projects with limited supervision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, support, and expertise to oversee access workflow, design, configuration, and validation sessions.
  • Manages site-specific configuration and build for project implementation.
  • Reviews, mitigates, and escalates risks/issues, follows up on action items, and provides leadership within the area of responsibility.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Provides mentoring, leadership, and knowledge transfer to team members.
  • Contributes access knowledge and expertise as required.
  • Assists with continuous quality improvement efforts in implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Services, Health Administration, Business Administration, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Physician Assistant, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in integrated EMRs, financial systems, enterprise systems, and/or ancillary systems.
  • Knowledge of workflows and business functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • CPHIMS certification.
  • SQL database knowledge.
  • Project management software, concepts, and tracking.
  • Healthcare Software Applications.
  • Perl/Java/XML/Linux/Apache.
  • HL7.
