Job Title: IT Risk Management Consultant
Job Type: Contractual Position

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational risk insights and recommendations to support various divisions.
  • Offer comprehensive risk guidance, oversight, and assurance services to both enterprise and divisional stakeholders. Develop and uphold risk frameworks to facilitate risk identification and mitigation.
  • Provide expert IT risk advice for both new and existing technologies, ensuring alignment with the organization's operational and strategic risk framework.
  • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical risk management practices. Establish measurable objectives and explore methods to elevate standards, improve quality, and bolster overall risk management efforts.
  • Lead and support the development, implementation, and management of both short- and long-term technical risk management strategies, in accordance with departmental goals and established risk management policies.
  • Collaborate with business units to mitigate risks and enhance process efficiency. Utilize industry best practices to design effective controls and recommend new strategies for technical risk management.
  • Foster strong relationships with enterprise and divisional clients to understand their ongoing risk management needs, building credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Evaluate existing control designs and provide recommendations for improvement, leveraging industry best practices to enhance technical standards and methodologies.
  • Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT risk management.
  • Familiarity with IT frameworks, including certifications in AI and cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and understanding IT general controls and dashboard metrics.
