About the Role:
Healthcare Talent Support is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. As a key member of our healthcare recruitment company, you will provide top-notch psychological treatment and evaluations to individuals, families, and groups.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals, families, and groups, helping medical and surgical patients cope with illnesses or injuries.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
• Maintain accurate and current notes in electronic health records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment as required.
About the Facility:
Our facility in Fairbanks, AK, has a team of 22 personnel, including licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, family advocacy assistants, front desk staff, and family advocacy nurses. We see an average of 5 patients per day, with typical diagnoses including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
Requirements:
• Hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Maintain current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
• Possess BLS certification.
