Job Summary

Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Clinician II to join our Mobile Crisis Team in Fairbanks. As a key member of our team, you will provide on-demand crisis services to individuals in need, utilizing your expertise in mental health assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and respond to crisis situations, providing stabilization and support to individuals in need.
  • Collaborate with emergency responders and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement safety plans, wellness plans, and other interventions to promote client stability and well-being.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and engage in ongoing clinical supervision to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a social worker, psychologist, or marriage and family therapist in Alaska (or ability to obtain licensure within two years).
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing severe mental illness and/or substance use, preferably in crisis intervention and stabilization.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid Alaska driver's license with a clean driving record.
