Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and perform patient assessments to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associated degree from an accredited respiratory program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certification issued by the NBRC.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
  • 1 year experience in an acute care facility preferred; new grads with licensing complete will be considered.
  • Ability to work nights and rotation weekends.
