Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a CRT, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including basic and intensive respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and pulmonary function testing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life-support procedures as needed.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and respiratory status.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory program.
  • RCP issued by the Texas Medical Board.
  • CRT issued by the NBRC.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care, with new graduates considered.
