Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation
  • Document patient assessment and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Requirements
  • Associated degree from an accredited respiratory program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certification issued by the NBRC
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner certification issued by the Texas Medical Board
  • 1 year experience in an acute care facility preferred
  • Ability to work nights and rotation weekends
