Key Responsibilities- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the caller, and forward calls to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce them to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide callers with information about the organization, including address, directions, and other relevant details.
- Create and print various documents, such as fax cover sheets, memos, and correspondence, as needed.
- Maintain the Federal Express system, prepare daily reports, and perform other clerical duties as required.
- Retrieve messages from the voice mail system and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
- Sort and stamp the date of receipt on all incoming mail.
- Bilingual skills are a must.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Regular talking and hearing.
- Frequent walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Subject to repetitive use of hands and arms.
- Occasional standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and using hands and fingers to handle and feel.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to direct others and communicate effectively with management and supervision.
- Talking and reading comprehension necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy.
- Ability to use math and complete calculations.
- Must be able to concentrate amid distractions and remember details.
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office devices.
