Position Overview

The Telecommunications Construction Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the completion of underground construction tasks while ensuring adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

Compensation: $28 - $42 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to guarantee that all construction activities are executed in line with client and industry requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality control.
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Act as the crew leader, responsible for the accurate and timely submission of daily and production reports.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction, telecommunications, or related fields; leadership experience is preferred.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks required for the role throughout the entire shift.
  • Proficient in operating various types of vehicles and equipment.
  • Possession of a CDL is preferred for driving and operating diesel or gasoline-powered equipment.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe working practices in accordance with all regulations and policies.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members in achieving company objectives.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb in and out of various equipment (trucks, backhoes, etc.).
  • Experience working around heavy machinery.
  • Capacity for repetitive motions and physical activity.
  • Willingness to work in confined or remote areas.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights of up to 50+ pounds.
  • Comfortable working in varying heights and depths.
  • Ability to maintain visual and audible contact with team members and equipment for safe operations.
  • Prepared to work in diverse weather conditions.

Work Schedule:

Hours and schedules are determined based on regional and customer needs, typically requiring the ability to perform the above tasks for at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Weekend work and overtime may be necessary based on workload.
