About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Construction Manager to join our team at ByVerTek. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily construction and maintenance activities of our telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction personnel, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Contract Management: Manage relationships with contract partners, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that any issues or concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel and to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of construction equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition and that any necessary repairs or replacements are carried out promptly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, including experience in project management, team leadership, and contract management.
  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with a strong background in construction management, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including contract partners, employees, and customers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with construction management software and systems.
