Geriatric Psychiatrist Position at Allina Health

Allina Health is seeking a skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. As a member of our robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with providers to develop treatment plans that address the behavioral health needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and lead staff education in psychiatric issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency psychiatric services as needed.
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
- Geriatric fellowship is strongly preferred.
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
