Allina Health is a leading healthcare organization in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our Mental Health & Addiction Clinical Service Line team.
As a Psychiatrist with Allina Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient services. Our team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health services, and we are committed to innovation and excellence in our field.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of patients.
- Engage patients and families to develop treatment plans that address identified goals.
- Develop and lead staff education in psychiatric issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required board certified in Psychiatry within two years of hire upon hire.
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable ACLS/BLS Tier - Multisource required upon hire.
