Mechanical Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team at Hargrove Engineers and Constructors. As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving the reliability and sustainability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sustainable reliability performance by utilizing effective tools and techniques that impact culture, work processes, and equipment systems.
- Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel in areas such as Criticality Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analyses, Maintainability Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects (FMEA), and Life Cycle Equipment Management Process/Equipment Care Strategies.
- Monitor and create KPI data for early/predictive identification and resolution of reliability issues.
- Lead the sites Mechanical Bad Actor Program to develop and implement sustainable solutions to optimize cost and improve asset effectiveness.
- Develop equipment repair procedures and specifications necessary to improve plant and equipment reliability and support all EH&S policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel to provide training and services related to operation, design review, repair, and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support for the troubleshooting of problems and optimization of risk-based PM and PdM programs.
- Lead culture change and promote continuous improvement by employing LEAN Manufacturing tools through Six Sigma methodology.
- Perform root cause analyses of equipment failures and develop/implement corrective actions to address findings.
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
- Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
- Requires 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with formal reliability programs such as TPM, RCM, RCFA, and experience developing, reviewing, and implementing strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Familiar with rotating equipment installation and predictive maintenance methods.
- Possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Possess computer skills to include CMMS software (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office suite of products.
