Process Control Engineer

A Process Control Engineer is required to design, develop, implement, operate, monitor, and maintain industrial control systems (ICS) in an LNG facility. The successful candidate will work under supervision to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Main Responsibilities:
Supports Honey Experion and PLC engineering, including the management of change process to identify and manage risks from process control changes. Provides engineering and technical input during the development and/or revision of process control related standards, procedures, guidelines, and plans. Conducts Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on process control equipment failures to eliminate or mitigate consequences. Develops as a subject matter expert on process control systems engineering and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
Requirements:
Experience with Honeywell Experion, Safety Manager, and PLCs. Safety Instrumented Systems certifications or coursework. Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines. Basic project management and supervision skills. Knowledge of engineering fundamentals in more than one discipline. Basic knowledge of cross-functional project execution.
Work Environment:
Must be able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform job functions. Operates in a professional office environment within or outside of an industrial plant environment. Possible exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions. Possible exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits. Possible exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction. Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers with scanner and fax, and radios.
