Job Description

The Consultant, Commercial Initiatives is a key role within the Commercial Bank, responsible for supporting strategic transformation efforts to improve operating and financial performance. This position will collaborate with the Commercial Strategies team, work with senior leaders across departments and lines of business, and partner with internal shared service providers to execute key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with complex projects across the Commercial Bank, including the transformation of the loan origination process.
  • Collaborate with users and teammates to identify training needs and provide input on developing necessary tools for user-led training and guides.
  • Leverage Private Wealth and Commercial Division banking knowledge to assess, plan, and execute project activities to promote and ensure project success and sustainment.
  • Partner with the Commercial Strategies team, work with senior leaders, and collaborate with internal shared service providers to execute key initiatives and ensure responsiveness to the broader organization.
  • Share project vision and keep stakeholders informed and engaged through effective and timely communications and project updates.
  • Assist in establishing an effective project control reporting process and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Influence key stakeholders on key business decisions and change efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in Commercial Banking, with solid knowledge of Commercial Bank processes and procedures, particularly the loan origination and/or loan closing process.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience coordinating team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and create a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivation, discipline, task focus, and a proven record of delivering high-quality results within strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to persist through ambiguity and move ahead regardless of barriers.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across disciplines and with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and identify common themes and solutions.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF, as well as the ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner.
