Project Coordinator for Global Public Health Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Administrator to support the smooth running of our operations at the New York State Psychiatry Institute. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Executive Director's calendar, monitoring and updating the schedule, tracking the status of requests, and performing data entry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Executive Director's calendar and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Monitor and update the schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Perform data entry and oversee the management of contact and project management tools
  • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and stakeholders, anticipating and prioritizing tasks to meet project goals

You will also be responsible for implementing and overseeing a project/task tracking tool, creating and maintaining files, reviewing drafts and finished documents, and providing support to the Executive Director in creating and editing PowerPoint presentations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of administrative experience in a complex organization
  • 3 years of experience using Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Zoom, and social media platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances
