About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Communications Coordinator to join our team in New York City. In this role, you will support the development and execution of strategic communications campaigns, messaging, and message-driven projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Global Messaging Efforts: Assist in maintaining an organization-wide messaging hub to hold, catalog, and share the Center's institutional, thematic, and project-based messaging.
  • Communications Operations: Support the department budget processes, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and keeping department folders organized on SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in the procurement and contracting process for external vendors and consultants, from drafting through execution.
  • Project Coordination: Maintain the Communications Department Monday board for strategic communications and related projects.
Requirements
  • Strong Commitment: A strong commitment to the Center's mission, purpose, and values is essential.
  • Education and Experience: A university degree in communications or a related field, with 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working on a global team and/or with global content is highly desirable.
About the Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: The annual salary for this position is $68,000, reflecting a location-based adjustment.
  • Flexible Work Arrangements: We offer a hybrid model, requiring staff to work 3 days per week in the office and allowing work 2 days per week from home.
