Strategic Pricing Analyst

Join Considine Search in our mission to build a high-caliber team that proactively responds to the needs of our attorneys and clients. As a Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will contribute to a variety of our firm's strategic initiatives, including supporting our lawyers in their client rate negotiations, developing fee proposals, communicating with clients, and implementing pricing best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support rate negotiations by providing strategic insight and developing fee options that align with our firm's profitability goals and satisfy client business requirements.
  • Develop relationships with client contacts through effective communication and resolution of client issues.
  • Contribute to strategic pricing initiatives with financial modeling and data analysis, including identifying, extracting, and summarizing information from multiple sources.
  • Research the legal market and distill competitive intelligence data to make recommendations on proposed billing rates.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to support the development of profitable pricing solutions and serve as a liaison with our Business Committee.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in response to attorney and client requests.
  • Draft and improve written language that is professional, succinct, and persuasive.
  • Implement and assist with further developing our firm's pricing best practices.
  • Partner with other members of our Strategic Pricing team to gain a well-rounded knowledge base and to teach others about your area of expertise.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities with senior team members, analyst cohort presentations, and other online resources.
  • Uphold high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, particularly with respect to all sensitive and/or confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or other related business function.
  • Ability to manipulate data effectively and present findings to management and attorneys in a simplified manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL a plus.
  • Proactive and able to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and complete work within given time constraints.
  • Highly detail-oriented, exercise sound judgment, and possess the confidence and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with our senior management, attorneys, and staff.
  • Self-motivated person with a positive, professional, and customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Open-minded critical thinker that is eager to learn.
What We Offer
