Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team at Intermountain Health. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in our Heart Failure Program, working closely with board-certified cardiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

About this Role:

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with stage 3 and 4 heart failure. Your duties will include ensuring medication compliance, monitoring dietary and lifestyle changes, and conducting regular follow-ups. You will also work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong background in cardiology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiology setting and be licensed as an NP or PA in the state of CO or able to obtain. DEA and full prescriptive authority in CO or able to obtain are also required.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. You will also need to verbally communicate with patient care providers, patients, and visitors, and have manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment. You will be expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, and may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
