Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology/Heart Failure Program in Denver, CO.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our board-certified Heart Failure Cardiologists to build a pre-eminent Heart Failure Program in the state of Colorado. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring medication compliance, monitoring dietary and lifestyle changes, and conducting regular follow-ups.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to stage 3 and 4 heart failure patients
- Work collaboratively with our Heart Failure Cardiologists to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct regular follow-ups and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed as an NP or PA in the state of CO or able to obtain DEA and full prescriptive authority in CO
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting
- Experience in a Heart Failure program, highly desired

Physical Requirements:This role requires the ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. You will also need to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information, alarms, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity is required to manipulate complex and delicate equipment, and you will need to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.
