Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Holiday Inn Club Vacations. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our accommodation units, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interior Cleaning: Clean and maintain the interior of all accommodation units, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and three-bedroom lock-off units, to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Check-out Cleaning: Perform thorough check-out cleaning on all units, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, stripping/making beds, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, ovens, refrigerators, pots/pans, scrubbing floors, cleaning patios and desks, combating mildew and mold, and removing significant amounts of trash.
  • Stay-over, Mid-week, and Trash Cleans: Perform cleaning of stay-over, mid-week, and trash cleans, as well as annual maintenance of units, and cleaning of new construction and renovation units.
  • Lost and Found Reports: Report all lost and found items and any service issues found in a unit.
  • Special Projects and Team Support: Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned, and provide support to other Housekeepers as needed.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to work morning shifts from 8:30am-5pm, including weekends and holidays.
  • Self-Directed and Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking direction from multiple leaders using an array of leadership styles and different levels of communication.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, and to build strong relationships with team members.
