Job Description

The Guest Services Specialist is a critical role that plays a key part in ensuring the success of our clients and the overall well-being of our staff. This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and interpersonal abilities.

As a Guest Services Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming environment by greeting and assisting all visitors and Reed Smith personnel. You will also be required to answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, take accurate messages, and handle or refer questions and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining a welcoming environment by greeting and assisting all visitors and Reed Smith personnel.
  • Answering telephones in a friendly, professional manner, taking accurate messages and handling or referring questions and requests.
  • Following established procedures with regard to both expected and unexpected arrivals.
  • Becoming familiar with Firm clients and visitors and addressing them by name whenever possible.
  • Assisting with creating and distributing employee ID badges and building access cards.
  • Confirming room reservations and bookings.
  • Assisting guests with light photocopying, printing, scanning, faxing, and sending or receiving courier packages.

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience in hospitality service industry; general clerical experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to accept accountability for all assigned responsibilities with a high level of diplomacy.
  • A genuine sense of hospitality, commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in all aspects of the position.
