Client Coordination Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team at Alera Group Pittsburgh. As a key player in our Employee Benefits team, you'll be responsible for managing an assigned book of business while driving its growth. With a strong background in benefits and benefits processing, you'll have the expertise to gather data, negotiate with carriers, and develop compelling sales presentations.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills in a fast-paced environment where you'll work closely with our team to deliver exceptional results. As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for:
- Gathering data for marketing medical plans and creating detailed spreadsheets.
- Liaising with carrier partners to ensure accuracy of contracts.
- Becoming proficient in all plans and products within the assigned book of business.
- Developing, modifying, and finalizing sales presentations and written communications.
With your extensive knowledge of benefits and compliance laws, you'll navigate complex situations with ease. You'll also have the chance to develop your skills in Microsoft Office Suite and master internal client management systems.
What We Offer:A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, STD, LTD, and life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. Requirements:To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in client coordination and/or claims management in a broker or carrier organization.
- A strong working knowledge of benefits and benefits processing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
