Sales Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team at Holiday Inn Express. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales department in managing and maintaining corporate group business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Be one of the first points of contact for incoming sales calls, and respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers.
- Time Management and Organization: Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning, and endeavor to be organizationally savvy with a keen focus on detail.
- Task Completion: Work diligently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to assisting with or the management of room blocks, select reporting, client notification of key dates, group resumes, event orders, and BEO's, billing details, and other integral administrative aspects of the booking or execution of groups and events.
- Event Management: Complete or assist with various aspects of pre-event, main event, and post-event details: Track, detail, and communicate with internal partners and external clients about the particulars of each assigned event and group.
- Product Knowledge:
- Training and Development: Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes, and understand the hotel's sales strategies, including rates, fees, budgeted goals, etc. Implement these tools and resources in order to accomplish individual and team goals and efficiently complete job duties.
- Teamwork and Communication: Participate in and report out at all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications required for this position.
- Professional Development: Own your career development and be an advocate for training and job opportunities that will allow you to continue to hone and develop your talents, skills, creativity, and personal and professional growth.
- Performance Metrics: Consistently attain sales activity goals and individual revenue goals, including proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments required for this position, as outlined by M&R and your supervisor (if applicable).
- Company Policies: Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by Management, of which employee is capable of performing.
