Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Water Resource practice. In this role, you will provide essential engineering services for a variety of infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic calculations and assist with various engineering tasks under the supervision of a project engineer.
  • Participate in fieldwork related to geotechnical assessments and construction activities.
  • Support the team in preparing civil designs, technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Assist in providing support services during construction, including reviewing submissions and clarifying contract documents.
  • Engage in other duties as assigned that align with your skills and experience.
Your Qualifications
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles and analytical methods.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a project team and engage in creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D, Geostudio, and gINT.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam and EIT certification.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience; co-op or internship experience is advantageous.
  • Fieldwork may require travel and exposure to various weather conditions.
