Key Responsibilities
Software Development Assistance:
Provide support in software development and training, particularly in projects that leverage practical design applications with sophisticated CAD systems.
Application of Knowledge:
Employ your extensive knowledge of design and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to enhance and support digital engineering solutions and services in a fast-paced, rapid-prototype setting. Process and manage Technical Data Packages (TDPs) within SAIC's PLM tools.
Ongoing Learning & System Integration:
Continuously engage with our Digital Engineering platforms to understand and document stakeholder and system requirements, fostering dialogue and comprehension of digital solutions, thereby enriching our digital engineering culture.
Collaborative Engineering:
Collaborate closely with design engineers on direct program initiatives, improving overall knowledge and application of modeling techniques, and ensuring effective adoption of Digital Engineering deliverables.
Community Involvement:
Actively engage with the broader Industry, Government, and Academia communities to absorb and implement the latest trends, emerging technologies, and innovative methods to enhance our digital engineering practices.
Mentorship & Leadership:
Offer guidance and share expertise regarding our proprietary solutions and standards, mentoring colleagues to ensure collective growth and consistency in our methodologies.
Business Development Support:
Contribute to proposal development and other business growth initiatives, utilizing exceptional presentation and writing skills to convey value and strategic vision.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a recent Ph.D. graduate. Candidates with an additional 4+ years of professional experience and an Associate's degree may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Core Competencies:
Proven expertise in setting up, managing, and conducting training for CAD tools within a PLM environment.
In-depth understanding of design process workflows and lifecycles.
Proficiency in creating, managing, and integrating legacy Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
Creativity in establishing new processes and procedures to optimize design support methodologies.
Technical Proficiency:
High proficiency in leading 3D CAD software, particularly CREO and SolidWorks. Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Siemens NX will be considered beneficial.
Familiarity with Aras Innovator PLM will be regarded as advantageous.
Ability to excel in a remote team environment, initiating and managing tasks in support of collective objectives.
Self-driven to research and integrate new ideas, utilizing state-of-the-art hardware and software to enhance the design process.
Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain a Secret clearance.
