Role Summary:
The Customer Operations Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing North American customer accounts, ensuring efficient Order to Cash processes. This position encompasses various responsibilities, including customer demand oversight, forecasting, and backlog management. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to optimize performance.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Provide comprehensive account support, identifying challenges and implementing solutions to enhance outcomes. This includes managing order bookings in Oracle/SAP, adjusting shipping timelines, and confirming delivery schedules.
- Strive for excellence in quality, accuracy, and consistency in customer service metrics.
- Oversee customer demand management, ensuring alignment between supply and customer needs while addressing operational challenges.
- Engage with customers to analyze order patterns, drive inventory consumption, and stay informed about product transitions.
- Collaborate with demand planning and logistics teams to ensure optimal supply allocation based on customer requirements.
- Lead operational projects that support customer needs, including ERP and EDI changes that impact fulfillment processes.
- Report on monthly and quarterly revenue, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
- Work with the Analytics team to enhance reporting and dashboard capabilities to support Sales Teams and Customers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record in driving operational excellence and process improvement.
- Dynamic team player with strong communication skills to foster collaboration.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales operations or similar roles.
- Experience in managing order backlog and resolving operational inefficiencies.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping processes is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including macros, tables, and pivot functions).
