Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your academic knowledge to assist with various accounting tasks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
  • Analyze data to uncover insights that inform decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency.

Tax Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns according to established standards.
  • Effectively utilize current tax and accounting software.
  • Conduct research on tax-related issues and financial reports.
  • Participate in tax return interviews as necessary.

Audit Responsibilities:

  • Execute audit and compliance testing procedures as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding project status and challenges.
  • Prepare or review financial statements and related documentation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of GAAP relevant to your assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, with completion of taxation coursework.
  • Strong academic performance in accounting, ideally with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • On track to meet CPA exam eligibility requirements upon graduation.
  • Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or related fields.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
