POSITION SUMMARY:

The Oxygen Systems Trainee plays a vital role within the Oxygen division, providing essential support for high-altitude relief in luxury home construction and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Oxygen Systems Trainee will report directly to the Oxygen Manager and will primarily assist in the installation and upkeep of oxygen systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning to interpret and execute detailed plans.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of previously installed oxygen systems.
  • Participating in the initial setup of oxygen units.
  • Constructing support structures for equipment.
  • Installing ambient tubes and wiring.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of tools and job sites.
  • Managing the setup and breakdown of tools and materials at the start and end of each workday.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of the work environment, vehicles, and trailers.
  • Adhering to daily safety protocols and requirements.
  • Performing drilling and minor woodworking tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Dependable and accountable, with a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in construction.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This role requires regular communication with others, both in person and via phone; sitting and standing; moving, using hands to operate tools or controls; and reaching with hands and arms. The position frequently involves climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift items over 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The physical setting requires the employee to work in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors. This position may involve travel to multiple job sites as needed.
  • This role may require occasional overtime, evening, and weekend work.
