Behavior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Consultant to join our team at NeurAbilities Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch medical and psychological care to individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments and develop personalized intervention plans to support individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Provide consultation and training to parents, school personnel, and other caregivers to ensure seamless implementation of treatment plans.
- Generate detailed behavior assessment reports and treatment plans in compliance with insurance and organizational standards.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop and implement behavior intervention plans to promote positive behavior change.
- Participate in psychological evaluations and provide expert testimony as needed.
- Develop and implement ABA programs, including materials and monitoring, to ensure effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive treatment plans, including data analysis, report writing, and program updates.
- Provide field supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians/ABA therapists to ensure adherence to BACB standards.
- Conduct community training programs to promote awareness and understanding of autism and ABA principles.
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
- Behavior Specialist Licensure.
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
- 2 years post-master's experience with maladaptive responding in school and home environments.
- Functional understanding of ABA principles.
- Experience teaching functional communication and social skills and training staff in the principles of ABA.
- Estimated 50% travel, dependent on need.
- Travel is local during the business day between the hours of 7am and 7pm depending upon assigned caseload.
- This job operates in a clinic, home, or school environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer/tablet and phone.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving verbal communication and physical activity, which may include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
